Kermit Roosevelt (* 14. července 1971, Washington, D.C., Spojené státy americké) je americký spisovatel, právník a profesor.

[editovat]- Bush vs. Gore byl případ, který zlomil Souterovi srdce. Otřáslo to jeho vírou v soud jako instituci a ztížilo mu to pocit, že se angažuje v něčem, co stojí za to. Soudnictví se tak jevilo jako akt politické vůle, což nechtěl dělat.
Bush v. Gore was the case that broke Souter’s heart. It shook his faith in the court as an institution and made it harder for him to feel he was engaged in something worthwhile. It made judging seem like an act of political will, which he did not want to be doing.[1]
